Clinical Features:

A 50 years old female patient came with lower abdominal pain.

Ultrasound Features:

- Bulky uterus.

- Multiple well-defined oval heterogeneously hypoechoic subserous & intramural fibroids in the anterior myometrium of the uterine body. Color Doppler shows high impedance flow in supplying vessels.

- Tiny well-defined oval anechoic cervical nabothian cyst.

Remember:

Fibroid should have an echogenic thin pseudocapsule which helps differentiate between adenomyosis & fibroid though they may present simultaneously.
